Shinee's LUCIFER mv + Sidebar Updates

Yup! I understand that I'm pretty much a week or so late blogging about Shinee's comeback with Lucifer. But I'm in a blogging mood today and I was thinking about what else I can blog about today. Then I thought, "Well I've been watching Shinee's Lucifer mv at least once a day so why not that?" So let's go watch the Lucifer mv!


As a whole I really liked this music video and Shinee's new looks. Sure, I was totally confused as to what they were going for when they released the concept videos. I thought SM totally screwed them over when the pics came out, but then this music video was released and that was when I realized that SM just likes to fuck with us. This music video was really cool with all of the misty light things and such. But what really caught my attention while watching this mv is how much Shinee has GROWN UP! Like....holy fuck they're not boys anymore. Well...everyone but Taemin. I don't think he'll ever grow up...but lets hear my thoughts on each member now, shall we?


What happened to the fail Onew? Where's the Onew who has that cute smile and funny demeanor? That side of Onew is NONEXISTENT in this music video. All I see is a cocky guy who understands my desire for his peen. I'm going to IGNORE the atrocious hair that those STUPID STYLISTS did and focus on the SEXY rock-a-billy hair that he's sporting here. And I know all of you know which bad hairstyle I'm referring to. I don't know what the stylists were thinking but parting the hair in the middle for a guy is NOT SEXY!! Hear my words stylists. IT IS NOT SEXY!!!!! Ok...I went on a tangent there. Let's go back to Onew. He is truly looking sexy and hot now. I mean, I knew he was cute and adorable. A guy that you would want to have fun and play games with. Now, I've always loved his voice and considering this new sexy look of his...an AMAZING package. But...have you noticed the ARMS?! Where is the world did THOSE come from? Shinee isn't supposed to have muscles...they're little boys who are twigs!


Now, I know I spazzing about Onew's arms...but those arms can't compare to THESE!! What the HELL JONGHYUN! I really do not understand what is going on here. True, I knew that this guy here is very good-looking. Hell...he was the one that I noticed first in the first music video they did, but that was it. I just acknowledged him for his good looks, but he did NOT have this before. I have to say that this boy worked out REAL HARD for arms like those. I'm guessing that he's been working out with MBLAQ's Lee Joon. Now we all know that Joon has an amazing body and such and I bet he brought out the SEX that is in Jonghyun while they were together. Just look at the vein jutting out of his arm! The two of them probably did special training to work on those arms...possibly push-ups? Jonghyun doing push-ups off of Joon's rock hard thighs...getting a long treat every time he goes down. Up and down....up and down...up and down...I'm sure that worked on Jonghyun's jaw muscles as well...


Even with half of his hair gone, Key can still work his bitch face. No matter what Key will always be a diva and he'll let it be known. I knew that if there was going to be a member who would go through a drastic change it would be Key since he's got a unique sense of style. And in all honesty, I actually think his hair isn't that bad. I like how it's different and they bleached the buzz cut part. But what I want real bad is his eye make up. Why is it that lately I've been wanting to copy these kpeens? It's natural for me, a girl, to want something off of a girl idol. But NOPE! Here I am wanting to be like this kpeen. Wow.


There's really isn't much I can say about you Minho. You only got much sexier and UNF-er with this comeback. One thing's for sure...I am SO HAPPY that they cut your hair. I was getting really tired with that long mane of yours. Sure, I do believe that your hair is a TAD too short for my liking, but I'm just glad that they decided to do SOMETHING to your hair. For Juliette and Ring Ding Dong they basically didn't do anything to you hair and just let it grow. It was getting boring if you ask me. But I'm really digging this short hair of yours when its up like this. Lastly, you can't really see it here because of what he's wearing...but this sexy man has ABS! Yes! It's true! Minho has abs and it makes me very happy all over. I'm sure Dream Team played a part in this transformation so, thank you Dream Team. Thank you very much.


EVIL!!! This BOY is plain EVIL!!!! Why? Why Taemin? WHY THE FUCK DO YOU DO THIS TO ME!! You are supposed to be this little young boy and I want to coo over because you're so cute. A little boy that I want take care of or anything. I also NEVER look in your direction because Minho's UNF keeps pulling me in. But then you look like THIS! I wanted to keep telling myself that the only reason why I was looking at you most of the time in the mv is because I really want that hair of yours. The minute my hair grows a bit longer I'm going to go to my hair salon and tell my hairdresser that I want your hair. But I soon realized that I was in denial and used your hair as an excuse to what I feared would have happened. YOU Taemin...because of YOU I seem to be part of the PEDO NOONA group now! I was being a good girl and only eyeing on guys that were either my age or older than me...then you come along and ruin EVERYTHING! Now I'm going to KPOP HELL because of you Taemin...thoughts are being formed in my head that are only for hot kpeens like JUNHYUNG..DOOJOON...YOSEOB...and OTHERS! NOT YOU! Damn you Taemin....DAMN YOU!

Right when Jun Hyeong was catching up and taking all the attention away from you, I ended up stumbling upon a video that I have yet to watch. You sang "Cracks of a Broken Heart" by Eric Benet.

Now, Shinee's leader Onew already sang this song before you and I was literally impressed. His english was good and he only messed up once. Because of that one song, I fell in love with Onew's voice and he became one of my fav singers. So...I guess you could say I already had something to base on when I was listening to you singing that song.

But, I have to say that you did a pretty good job. Sure, the english wasn't as clear as Onew's but I was able to understand like...85% of what you were saying. Also, you really had some amazing runs and your expression was perfect for the song. I am once again amazed by your vocal ability and love you even more now. You reminded me why you are my number 1 favorite member in B2ST and your place is more secure now.

Also, you're the first person that I'm crazy about who isn't a rapper but a main vocal. So, you're my first...in a matter of speaking.

A Dream?

I had the most random dream ever while I was sleeping in my car waiting for my class start. Lately, I have noticed that I have been having more dreams in my car then in my actual bed. Weird, huh?

Anyways, off to my interesting dream.

Dream World

WorldI entered my last class of the day, Intro to Art 101. As I was sitting in my usual seat, I noticed someone in a white hoodie heading towards the row behind me. I don’t know why I did this, because I have never turned around to see who was sitting in the row behind me. But, this time I did and when I looked at the guy in the white hoodie…I was shocked to see who it was. Yes…the identity of the guy in the white hoodie was the one and only Jonghyun from SHINee. Now, the first thing that came into my head was, “Doesn’t he have swine flu at the moment?” Anyways, I turned and faced forward again…not comprehending what then hell I just saw. Then, another shock was that Jonghyun got out of his seat and went down a couple of rows and sat next to someone. I then realized that Onew and Taemin were there as well and my old friends were there, some chatting with the SHINee members. Seriously, you don’t know how confused I was when I saw that scene happen in front of me. I saw a good friend of mine sitting in that row and decided to sit next to her because I haven’t seen her for a while…and the fact that she was near the SHINee members.

Anyways, I’m going to fast forward because what happens next wasn’t that interesting. Class ended and I was leaving class to go to my car. As I heading out, my cell phone rang and my ringtone was the ending of “Ring Ding Dong.” It was my friend talking about going norebang later tonight and I was talking on the phone and heading to my car at the same time. What I did not see was that the three SHINee members heard my ringtone and decided to follow me all the way to my car. I reached the car and when I turned around, there they were…Onew, Taemin and Jonghyun. I spoke to them in English and all they said to me was, “Us. Come with you.”

Honestly, if it was someone else I would be like, “Hell no.” But because they are in SHINee…I just nodded. The last thing that I remembered in my dream was that I was driving home with Jonghyun sitting in the front with me and the other two in the back. Jonghyun had my iPhone and was picking songs to listen to.

I woke up in my car and I will admit that I was bummed to see that it wasn’t real.

Very odd and weird dream, huh?

But besides that, Jonghyun is having a fast recovery now! Yay! Continue to get better Jonghyun!

Once again, I'm Sorry...

I'm so sorry for ignoring this amazing singer. I am so sorry for looking past you and not taking notice of you. But can you blame me? You debuted looking like this.

Yeah...no.

I'm sorry...but you looked like a ghetto asian boy and the bling didn't help. Because of that, I pushed you aside and noticed everyone else. BUT! My thoughts of you began to change when I heard you sing this song on EunTeuk's Kiss the Radio.

Even though your voice cracked at one point, this was the first time I noticed your vocal abilities. Because of that vid, I began to look up vids of you and found myself noticing you. But what made me fall for your voice was when you san 'Forever More.' Your english was almost flawless and I was amazed. And now, your voice is in my top fav voices that I can listen to for hours on end. Oh! And it helps a lot now that you look like this.

Sure, I prefer the 'Juliette' hair more than the 'Ring Ding Dong' hair. But any hair is better than 'Noona is so Pretty' hair. So he's eye worthy now.

So...Lee Jinki, Onew, SHINee's leader...accept my sincerest apology for glancing past you. You sung your way into my heart and will forever be there.

2009, Year of Us

On October 23, 2009...I bought SHINee's new album.

I was so happy when I got this album because this is the second SHINee album that I own. I love their new look and anticipated listening to their songs since I've only heard the teasers. And now that I have heard all of the songs, seen the overall photobook and the packaging I shall give my review.

Songs

1. Y.O.U. (Year of Us) - I absolutely love this song. I was actually doing the laundry when this song started to play and I literally had to stop everything and listen to this song. The background music really works for the song and the boys' voice have a smooth and gentle sound. It's a type of song that you'd want to listen to when you just want to lie down and rest. I have to say that I probably love the chorus the most out of the whole entire song. And if you want to know an interesting, Minho actually sings 3 times if you pay attention. Sure, the longest time was only 3 secs, but for someone who likes Minho it means a lot. I would without a doubt play this song on repeat.

2. Ring Ding Dong - Now of course, this being their comeback song I have heard this song a lot already. Overall, this is just a fun song to listen to with their continuous 'ding ding ding' and 'dong dong dong.' And before you even know it, this song gets stuck in you head and mumbling to yourself 'ling ding dong ling ding' while you're walking around. But of course, I have no idea how the words 'elastic' and 'fantastic' adds to the meaning of the song. If remember the jist of the translations I heard, it seems to be talking about a guy who's kind of on the bad side and how there's a girl that caught their attention. And how if they can have that girl, they don't need anything else. (If I'm wrong in the translation, please correct me) So...how does that relate to 'elastic' and 'fantastic' help? Anyways, I really like this song and just puts a smile on face.

3. JoJo - The first thing I noticed when I heard this song was the really low voice speaking in the beginning of the song. Now, I don't think they got someone to say that for their album, but it seems like it's too low for Minho. But then again, Minho does have a really low voice. So, I'm going to say it's Minho. And I'm going to say this, I know Minho has a low voice but it seemed like it was extra low in this song. But, enough with his voice...back to the song. Again, this song is a hit for me. To me, it has like a slow club feel to it. The back beat is very catchy and one can find themselves bobbing their head or moving their body to it. And of course, their voices are amazing in it as well. Another song to put in repeat. I just wonder what 'JoJo' means...hmm...

4. Get Down (Key, Minho feat. Luna) - For this song, I have to say that it might take a couple of more times to listen to for me to get used to it. This song is just Minho and Key rapping with a little bit of Luna. To be honest, you don't really hear Luna that much in this song. It's like...um...very...I wouldn't say ghetto rap per say...but you hear like sirens sometimes in the background. Sort of old school and new school in it. Minho's rapping is very cool because of that voice of his and it really sounds powerful. Key's rap was cool too because it seems like the beginning of the rap is in english. And his english is pretty good since I understand what he's trying to say.

5. SHINee Girl - This song has a happy feel to it during the chorus. I mean, the title is SHINee Girl so I'm sure it's about liking a girl or something. It's a cute song, I like it. It can bring your spirits up because of its happy and quick beat. There is one part I like though. It's the line "I want you. I need you. I love you too/true." That part was cool.

6. The Name (Onew feat. 김연우) - I just absolutely love this ballad song. I don't know who the other guy is, but his voice nicely compliments Onew's. I adore Onew's voice and it just sounds so flawless in this song. I think it showcases his voice very well because it's low and then there are high notes as well. Perfect song to listen to when you want to relax as well because it's so calming. I'm sucker for his voice so that's why I really love this song.

Photobook

All I have to say is that I love the pictures. It mostly consists of black and whites with color too. Since their concept is kind of dark and gothic of sorts, the lighting and photos convery that very well. There are individual, couple and group pics so it's pretty evenly distributed. The boys look very hot and wish there was more for me to look at.

Packaging

The overall look of it was pretty cool. It was horizontal this time unlike their 'Romeo&Juliette' which was vertical. But it was like the other album in the sense where the CD was in the back in a slit. Photos first then the CD. Now, there are some negatives though...despite how minimal it is. One thing I didn't like about it was how the pictures were glued to the seam. I mean, the day I just got the album, I was looking through the photobook and the pictures were coming off. I didn't even open the photobook that wide and yet the pictures came out of the seam. So, four pictures now are out of the seam. The other negative is that I'm not fond of how the CD is just in the seam. The CD slips out of it and I'm afraid of it slipping out and the CD being damaged.

Now, if I were to rate the album as the whole I would give it a....

9.5/10

I would have given it a 10 if the pictures didn't fall out and the CD was more secured. But overall, the songs are amazing and the photos are sexy. I would totally recommend people who are into SHINee or at least slightly interested in this group to buy the album. I have to say that I probably like this album the most.

'Ring Ding Dong' alright...

Oh how you boys grew up in the span of five months just amaze me. From neon pink clothing and cutesy smiles...you all have become these dark mysterious badass guys (still not men yet) that I cannot get out of my head.

Before, the only one that my heart would be for is the almost-mute Minho. But after watching this mv, my eyes wandered and now my heart is confused to which one I adore more. All five of you do something so sexy that I begin to spazz.

Now, let's talk about this sensual/sexy filled music video.

Throughout the whole entire video, I'm seeing glares, smirks and a look that says,

"Yes, I know. You want me don't you?"

And oh how they are correct indeed. It literally makes me shiver, thinking that I'm the one they're glaring/smirking at. Then, they constantly run their fingers across their delicious lips. First Jonghyun runs his thumb across his bottom lip...then Key does the same thing right after Jonghyun did it...and Onew! Wow...he even ran his whole hand across his mouth. Honestly, I do not know why I find it so appealing. All I know is that they should do it more often.

And thinking that I'm only younger than two of them makes it harder for me to believe that I'm finding these younger men so damn sexy.
